“I’ve got some catching up to do.”
Burlington resident and long-time drag racer Rick Kopp has reentered the arena with new sponsorship and new power for his Top Dragster, a race car he has not driven on a regular basis for two years.
The flamboyant Kopp has raced for more than two decades, mostly in drag racing, but he also competed in motocross when younger and has raced off-shore boats. The former Super Pro driver recently acquired financial support to get back into the cockpit of the long-wheelbase dragster.
